How the ACBuy shipping agent works

ACBuy sits between a Chinese seller and your door. You submit a product link and pay for the item; ACBuy buys it, has it delivered to its own warehouse, photographs it and stores it until you decide what to ship. When you are ready, the warehouse consolidates your items into one parcel and hands it to an international line you select. Everything below is the order-to-door flow, with the cost points worth checking first. Fees, line availability and platform eligibility change, so treat every figure as something to confirm on the live platform rather than a fixed promise.

1. Choose the item and submit the link

ACBuy auto-extracts roughly 99% of product details from Taobao, Tmall and 1688 links, so colour, size and quantity usually populate on their own. Free sourcing covers Taobao, Tmall, JD, 1688, Pinduoduo and Vipshop; Douyin, Xiaohongshu and second-hand sites such as Xianyu are handled through a special-platform or DIY order flow with a flat 10 CNY per item. If your list is built on Weidian or Yupoo, note that ACBuy no longer supports reps or Weidian purchasing — those links are not a reliable route.

2. Pay through the top-up balance

ACBuy uses a top-up model: you load your balance first, then buy from it. Payments run through international cards including Discover, Apple Pay and Google Pay, plus localized rails such as iDEAL, BLIK, Pix, EPS, Bancontact, Skrill and Trustly. Because the exchange rate applied at top-up is reported to sit about 17.6% above the interbank rate, the funding step — not the headline commission — is often what decides whether an order is good value.

3. Inspect at the warehouse

Goods arrive at ACBuy's warehouse for inspection and 3–5 free QC photos, then 90 days of free storage, extendable to a 180-day cap for a fee. Inspection covers appearance — style, colour, size, quantity and model — with optional detailed or custom photo services. This is the cheapest moment to reject a faulty item; returns are far harder once a parcel has shipped. Before dispatch you can add AC Care insurance and reinforced packaging.

4. Consolidate and ship out

Combine items from one or more lists into a single parcel and pick from 150+ lines. Shipping is charged as a deposit against estimated weight and refunded if you overpay. Expect a 10–30 CNY customs declaration fee and an 8 CNY handling fee on the shipping invoice. The 7-tier VIP program takes up to 6% off international shipping, and the discount stacks with coupons.

What to confirm before paying

• Current order status: placement was suspended from May 2026 for a warehouse upgrade and had not resumed in our source data.
• Whether every source platform in your list is still supported for the item type you want.
• The live exchange rate and any top-up or handling charges, rather than figures from an older guide.
• Import duties in your own country, which sit outside ACBuy's freight quote and can change the total landed cost considerably.
