Affiliate disclosure

Transparency links

For an actual affiliate relationship, Yu-Poo may earn commissions if a reader clicks an affiliate link and completes a qualifying purchase. Whether any commission is paid, and whether it affects the price, depends on the retailer's program terms and settlement records; a link must not be presented as guaranteeing an unchanged price.

Affiliate links must be labeled near the link or buying module. Display advertising, if used, must appear in clearly labeled slots. Advertisers must not receive drafts, scores or early test logs, and advertising placement must not carry a promise of coverage or a specific score.

Scored reviews must use independently purchased retail products and document their sourcing before publication. Under the sourcing rule, brand-supplied samples must not be used for scored reviews; disclosure alone does not waive this restriction. Test data behind a score, if any, must be collected before affiliate links are added.

Participation, commission rates, link behavior, price effects and advertising relationships are described according to actual program terms and records. Neutrality, price benefits and editorial independence must not be claimed without supporting evidence.
